Cassiopeia wide field view

I was out last night untill 02.30hrs trying to get a picture of a perseid fireball. I managed to catch 4 or 5 on the camera but they were not very bright, all the bright ones were always in the wrong place. At 01.40hrs approx there was a very bright fireball streaking through the Cassiopeia region, it was greenish in colour and left a trail that was still visible upto 30 seconds later, the camera was pointing in a diffrent direction. I decided to stack some of the images from last night. This is a stack of 7 images of between 25 and 60 seconds exposure using the 300D with a standar zoom set to 18mm, the images were stacked using DeepSky Stacker (DSS).

ISS GLIDES PAST HERCULES AND LYRA

This is my first go at imaging the ISS. Just point the camera at the right bit of sky and open the shutter at the right time.

Did some imaging tonight

This is just one of the images taken tonight. Taken with an 18mm lens attached to a 300D Iso800 114secs at f5. Image has been processed using Noels actions and PSE3.

Still chucking it down!!!

The rain looks like its set in for good, I am giving up - better luck next time!

Pleiades Moon Occultation

Its 00.47 Tuesday 7th waited up to take some images of the Occultation, weather looked promising at 23.30 but its now chucking it down!!

Milky Way wide field

Took this image the other night (first for a while!) It shows the Mily Way, Andromeda Galaxy is also visible.
